################################################### ## ## Handy Commands in Windows - reminders ## ################################################### #### Copy a GUI Search Output into a Text File AFTER the Search completes, Select all or part of the Search Output in the Explorer window. WITH the Output you want to copy Selected HOLD down the Shift Key and right-click somewhere in the Selected Area. In addition to the REGULAR right-click options, you will ALSO see "copy as path" (about half way down the right click list). "copy as path" is ONLY available when you press the shift key first and hold it as you right-click. Select "copy as path" to copy the Search results. You can now paste the search results into a document. This will only copy the path and filename, and not other details such as file size or creation date, etc.
